Meet Annie and Paul
It’s almost that glorious time of year that everyone looks forward to. Leaves changing colors, cool and crisp air all around us.
Engagements and weddings all around, and more pumpkin spice than my heart can contain.
As easy as it is to fast forward to what’s to come, Paul and Annie’s engagement session at Glen Echo and Whetstone Park in Columbus, Ohio showed me how much beauty there is in this very moment, if we are only still enough to recognize it.
What started off as posing and direction from me behind the camera, quickly turned in to these two getting lost in each other and the purest moments were captured during their engagement session.
From the way he looks at her in admiration to the evident love that flows from her heart to his, Annie and Paul were a joy to spend the day with.
We spent the day on over 14 combined acres between the two parks. I listened to them talk about their obsession with binge-watching Netflix, their adorable puppy, Winston, and how beautifully their story has unfolded ever since they first met.
Hand in hand, envisioning their future together. They can’t help but smile that the fates would have these two become one…
Glen Echo Park
It was such a beautiful day to continue the shoot at Glen Echo Park in Clintonville.
Annie radiates so much joy and beauty, and Paul had a sweet calmness to him. Which made the shy Annie feel more relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
He looks at her with amazement and she stares back with a sweet assurance that forever is their next stop on their journey together…
Walking hand in hand toward their next journey in life together, it will be such an honor to photograph their wedding day at the Ohio Statehouse this weekend.
