Candid with a hint of direction here and there
Ever had a photographer tell you to “just act natural”? What does that even mean? I’m a pro at giving directions that makes you feel at ease and help bring out your natural emotions. But I’m also not afraid to step back and let the candid magic unfold! In terms of editing, I don’t box myself into the “light and airy” or “dark and moody” categories—I’m somewhere in the middle. I love depth, deep tones, and contrast when editing and am not afraid of a well-placed shadow. It’s sexy! I love to take my natural surroundings into account, and incorporate movement into your images. Whether you’re dancing, skipping, or piggy back riding, we will keep moving. I’ve also been known to crack the occasional dirty joke to get you to loosen up and just have fun!

what to expect
1. Pre Wedding
Prior to your wedding day we'll get together for your engagement session. These sessions last 60-90 minutes and are a lot of fun. We get to know each other, get you comfortable in front of the camera, and share lots of laughs. Maybe even grab a beer afterwards! I highly recommend doing an engagement session because it yields much more relaxed results on the big day.
2. Wedding Prep
A month before the wedding, I’ll send over a questionnaire to begin planning all the little details like a family shot list, vendors, timeline, etc. This helps the big day run smoothly and ensures we are on the same page. I’m always available as a resource should you have questions or need recommendations.
3. Post Wedding
Your full gallery will be ready for you within 4-12 weeks from your wedding date in a personalized online gallery for you to share with your family and friends. If you order an album, we’ll start designing that together, and you can order prints directly from my professional labs.
