Kelly and Chadwick

The Vue Columbus located in the heart of downtown Columbus provided Kelly and Chadwick a classic and graceful backdrop for their wedding day. With a color palette of elegant navy blue and sparkling silver, it was complemented by neutral florals and captivating backdrops.

The Venue

Kelly and Chadwick’s venue had such a contemporary ambiance. What I like to call the “green” room of the venue is where Kelly and Chadwick had their first look. I LOVE this room! It is adorned with a stunning wood wall and it’s full of live plants! Pothos that trail from the walls and ceiling above. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a sucker for some houseplants. Can never have too many, right?

The pairing of the wood and the vibrant greenery added a touch of natural beauty to the otherwise sleek and chic surroundings of the rest of the venue. During their first look I think Chadwick took Kelly by surprise since he was so overcome with emotion. It was the sweetest moment.

After their ceremony I took the wedding party on an adventure just a few blocks from the Vue. We captured their photographs in various enchanting locations. The stairs with the brick background and vining ivy give a majestic contrast to their images. Lastly, the ivy-covered wall directly behind the venue created a romantic and whimsical essence for Kelly and Chadwick’s day.
