Scioto Audubon Metro Park in November is magical with vibrant hues of gold and orange. It was in the midst of this stunning season that Kelsey and Jon, a couple set up by a family friend, decided to have their engagement session.

The Proposal

Kelsey and Jon’s journey began in an unexpected way. Introduced by a mutual acquaintance, they instantly connected and embarked on a beautiful adventure together. The story of their engagement is like something out of a romance novel. While on vacation with Jon’s family at the luxurious Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, they dined at Fish by Jose Andres, an upscale restaurant known for its traditional Bahamian cuisine. With the sound of crashing waves as their soundtrack, they enjoyed their meal oceanside. Little did Kelsey know that this evening would forever change their lives.

After dinner they took a leisurely stroll along the beach, Jon found a perfect secluded area for the two of them where he dropped to one knee and proposed to Kelsey. Truly a magical moment for the both of them!

Kelsey and Jon share a deep love for movies, whether it’s cozying up at home on the couch or enjoying a cinematic experience at the theatre. They also find solace in nature, often going on hikes and camping trips. Their adventurous spirits have let them to dream of exploring far off destinations like Iceland and New Zealand, where Kelsey can put her scuba license to good use. Jon has a humorous personality and dreams of living on a ranch out west to embrace the rustic lifestyle.

Their session at Scioto Audubon Metro Park perfectly captures their love story. Surrounded by crisp autumn air, their laughter and affection commemorated their love in each photo.
