Camping Engagement Photos in the fall, the magical season for love and Emily and Daniel’s engagement session at his family farm perfectly captured the beauty and warmth of this time of year. Surrounded by large hay bales, their photos exuded rustic charm and a sense of coziness. But what made the session truly unique was the inclusion of Daniel’s beloved pet cow. With the gentle giant by their side, Emily and Daniel shared tender moments, showcasing not only their love for each other but his four-legged friend. The cow who is more like a family member to Daniel added an adorable to touch to their photos.

As the sun set, Emily and Daniel created a cozy atmosphere by lighting a bonfire. They snuggled up together on a log, sipping hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows. The flickering flames not only between these two but the flames, created an intimate setting for the two of them.

How They Met

Daniel moved from Illinois to a small town in Ohio called Mount Vernon where Emily is from. She started noticing him at friends parties that she had went to High School with. When she left for college, she came home for a weekend to hang out with friends and watch an Ohio State football game and he was there. The following day, Emily had gotten on social media and had a direct message from Daniel. They exchanged phone numbers and decided to give the relationship a shot and started dating.

The Proposal

After Emily graduated nursing school and had officially moved back home, Daniel asked her to go on a romantic hike at Mohican State Park. This is where Emily and Daniel had their very first date so it was sentimental for them both. Once they made it to the waterfall and had taken some photos, Daniel got down one on knee and professed his love to Emily asking her to stand by his side for eternity. A magical moment I’m sure of.

They love to go hiking, camping and kayaking together when they aren’t at a country music concert or hanging out with their family. Emily is a pediatric nurse at a children’s hospital and is very compassionate. She is a wine enthusiast and adores her Golden-doodle Theo. Daniel lives for duck hunting and riding his RZR side by side. He even took me for a ride after their session! Daniel loves his cows so much that he wants them to be flower girls at the wedding. I personally think it’s a great idea 😉
