Gretchen and Thomas’s Schiller Park Engagement Photos in the historic German Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, provides a beautiful backdrop for their love story to unfold.

Their journey began during their college years at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, where they both pursued their passion for law. From the moment they met, it was evident that their connection was something extraordinary. They knew deep down that they were destined to be together.

The Proposal

Thomas proposed in the comfort of their German Village home, a place filled with cherished memories. With just the two of them, the intimate proposal was a tribute to the love they shared. To commemorate this special milestone, they chose to include their home in their engagement session. I loved this idea and couldn’t believe how their backyard was beautifully landscaped. It was a beautiful way to capture the true essence of their relationship, surrounded by the familiarity of their own space.

As avid adventurers and sports enthusiasts, Gretchen and Thomas love to explore new places and cheer on their favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. They proudly call themselves “cheeseheads” and share excitement of each game day together. Their engagement session showcased their devotion for their beloved team.

Gretchen, a former cheerleader, radiates vibrant energy wherever she goes and absolutely adores her cat Jordy. Thomas, on the other hand finds joy in playing. tennis and has a remarkable talent for gardening.

Schiller Park provided the perfect canvas for Gretchen and Thomas’s engagement session. With its lush greenery, enchanting walkways, and historic atmosphere, the sun began to set, casting a beautiful golden glow over the park, we captured the undeniable magic between the two of them.
