Huntington Park Engagement Photos
Christy and Joshua
The bases are loaded for these Huntington Park engagement photos with Christy and Joshua. There’s nothing better than catching a ball game at the stadium that homes the Columbus Clippers! Savoring hot dogs drenched in mustard, ice cold beer, cheering for your home team. Their shared love for baseball is unwavering and their deep affection for each other ensures that this session is a guaranteed grand slam!
Also you should totally be singing this song by now!
Take Me Out To the Ball Game. Take me out to the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks. I don’t care if I ever get back.
We’ll root root root for the [Home Team]. If they don’t win, it’s a shame.
For it’s ONE, TWO, THREE strikes you’re OUT at the ol’ ball game.
How they met
Christy and Joshua’s love story is for the books! They met a housewarming party, where fate brought them together. Instead of mingling with everyone else, they found themselves on a rooftop, absorbed in deep conversation that lasted for hours. Little did they know that this would be the start of something so beautiful.
Together, they love hosting dinners for their loved ones, exploring breweries, kayaking and cheering on their favorite sports team such as the Columbus Clippers and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Their cherished dog, Guinness, completes their little family, perfectly named after a beer 😉
Although, it didn’t take long for Joshua to realize Christy was the one for him. Just one month into their relationship, Joshua was simultaneously on a call with a good friend of his and when he mentioned something about dinner, Christy casually asked him to get pizza and beer for dinner, he knew right then he would marry her.
The Proposal
Undoubtedly Joshua’s proposal to Christy was nothing short of magical. During a summer vacation in Cyprus, Greece, they visited Christy’s favorite place on earth, Cavo Greco National Park. Though she believed a proposal in such a dreamy location was impossible, Joshua had other plans. On the contrary did she ever think Joshua who had never been overseas and is an immaculate planner would be able to pull this off, yet he did! As Christy was exploring the area to find a great spot to swim, she turned around to see Joshua on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage. To her surprise, her parents played a part in helping plan this dream proposal and they were there to witness the heartfelt moment.
Finally, after we finished up their session on the ball field, we ventured over to North 4th Corridor. A stunning wedding venue with an amazing rooftop bar that showcases Columbus’s skyline. I loved every single second of capturing their love story-the laughter, the joy, the undeniable connection they share.
Forget Me Knot Photography is one of Columbus Ohio’s best wedding photographers.
