Newark Ohio Engagement Photos of the most beautiful couple Cortni and Darren. From the vibrant fall leaves to the cotton like field of milkweed, this engagement session was full of love and laughter. We started Cortni and Darren’s session at a small park located in Newark, Ohio. Newark is just 40 miles east of Columbus in Licking County.

Cortni and Darren met in Columbus through mutual friends even though they aren’t from the Columbus area. They love listening to music and catching it live when possible. Along with cooking delicious meals together when they aren’t out bargain hunting and working out together.

Cortni is an Ohio University alumni and third grade teacher who is abundantly passionate about all her students. Darren also works with children as an elementary physical education teacher. Needless to say, these two are superheroes! Darren also plays baseball for a Columbus league. Not only does he play ball but given the opportunity to catch a baseball game, you better believe these two will be there.

Besides having an absolute blast at the park, and enjoying cuddles on a plaid blanket, we stopped at a random location in downtown Newark. Definitely love their spontaneous personalities! The location was just off of 21st Street and had a gorgeous walking bridge and beautiful crab apple trees. Cortni in a stunning emerald green dress and heels was having some difficulty climbing up a hill to the bridge and Darren swooped her up into his arms like a knight in shining armor. The result made for such a great candid moment of the two of them. Lastly, he piggybacked her back down the hill with some speed to his step which resulted in a surprise to Cortni. If you know me then you know…I was there for it! So happy for these two!
