Wedgewood Country Club Wedding
Liz and John
These two had the epitome of a spring wedding in May located at Wedgewood Country Club in Delaware, Ohio. Liz and John endured on and off rain showers for their big day and they handled it with such grace. I personally love rain on wedding days. I know it’s not the popular opinion, but it makes for great photographs. These two aren’t new to Ohio’s unpredictable weather either. They had an engagement session full of snow which you can check out here.
Wedgewood Country Club has an elegant ballroom with breathtaking views of the golf course and pond. Liz and John decided to do a first look, no look. This is where the couple wants to touch or say a few meaningful words or even pray together before they tie the knot without seeing each other. Afterwards we headed out front of the country club to get some photographs of the bridesmaids and groomsmen before heading over to Liberty Presbyterian Church for their ceremony. Liz’s father was so cute winking at her at the end of the aisle. After these two sealed the deal with a kiss we went out and braved the rain. Liz and John had a bubble umbrella that kept them dry for some portraits. I always recommend these cute little umbrellas if rain is in the forecast for wedding days. We did some photos with their getaway car a gorgeous white Bentley then used the grounds at the church for some portraits. Once we arrived at the venue the rain had started to clear up and I knew we had to take advantage of it. Once we had a few moments to go outside we saw the most beautiful sunset along the other side of the pond. Such a stunning setting!
