This Newark Ohio Wedding has got to be one of my favs! Ethan and Hannah, as well as all their friends and family were so pleasant to be around. There was so much love surrounded by these two. It was amazing to witness and I felt truly honored to be a part of their day. It was a crisp November morning. The majority of the leaves had fallen to the ground and it was definitely brisk outside but everyone obliged to doing photos outdoors and they handled it so well.
But…..let’s talk about all these beautiful colors Hannah incorporated though. From the wedding invitations, groomsmen ties, to her shoes and bridesmaids dresses, I was in heaven! Not to forget about her amazingly beautiful bouquet. I was so so obsessed! I have never photographed a dried flowers before let alone a wedding bouquet of dried flowers. It was everything I had dreamed of! So bright, rich and vibrant yet delicate. Another delicate detail was Hannah’s wedding dress. I was in awe! I loved everything about it. It was two pieces and the dainty sleeves worked as a shaw over her arms. During her bridal portraits I was praying for a small gust of wind to help my vision come to life with this dress and mother nature didn’t disappoint. You’ll need to scroll down to take a peek. It’s exactly what I had in mind and is absolutely beautiful.
Their first look was so special. It was just the two of them in a small stairwell. They hugged, cried tears of joy and prayed together. Hannah’s sweet father was also in tears walking her down the aisle. So sweet! It was such a heartwarming ceremony and I don’t think there was a dry eye in their church. Afterwards we headed out for bridal party photos with everyone. I may be the odd ball out because I love photographing in the late fall and winter months. The texture of the bare trees photograph so well and with all the beautiful color Ethan and Hannah used, it made their images pop!
