Lynd’s Fruit Farm Engagement

Their Session

Erin and Jim’s engagement session was held at Lynd Fruit Farm, just outside Columbus in Pataskala, Ohio. The beautiful orchard scenery complimented their outfits perfectly! They have two, purebred shih tzu pups, Marco and Milo, and asked if we could include them in a few photographs. I’m a dog lover myself and was thrilled to include the two pooches into their engagement session. During their session, I could feel the love they have for one another. They were so at ease and comfortable; snuggling up and smiling at one another often. The weather was perfect for this fall engagement session, and the light was as dreamy as ever. Lynd’s Fruit Farm is the cutest little farm located just outside of Columbus, Ohio. It’s perfect for couples who want to do a little apple picking for their engagement photos.

How They Met

Erin’s sister and her now husband came to visit Columbus for the weekend around Erin’s 21st birthday. They invited Erin downtown to grab a drink for her birthday. After taking a chemistry exam that day, Erin was hesitant to say yes. She actually had plans to go on a first date with someone she had met while on a run through OSU campus. She agreed to drinks before her date, not knowing she would end up meeting the man that would become her husband!

At the bar, everyone introduced themselves except Jim. He seemed pretty shy. After an hour or so of having fun with him and the rest of the group, she decided not to go on her date she had planned. At the end of their evening, they all crashed on her floor and she drove them all home in the morning. The next day Jim reached out and asked her out on their first official first date. The rest was history!
