Kelton House Wedding of Alicia and Mark located in the historic district of Olde Towne East in Columbus, Ohio was a victorian wonderland. This quaint venue is also a museum that has old family artifacts of letters, furniture, paintings, china and textiles. The unusual collection of furnishings highlights three generations of one family. How cool is that?
How They Met
Alicia and Mark met when Alicia was working at East Street Cafe while she was attending nursing school. Mark only lived a few houses down from the restaurant and visited frequently. Alicia thought Mark was very handsome but was too timid to break the ice. However, a co-worker of hers knew this and decided to break the ice for her and initiated them to talk. After an exchange of numbers and a few phone conversations they had planned their first date. After that first date, they never left each others side.
They absolutely love to travel together and Mark loves to plan fun Ohio road trips to take Alicia to places she’s never been. They try to travel as much as they can. Mark even has a cool refrigerator collection of magnets of all the places they’ve been together as a couple. When they aren’t traveling you can find them taking strolls in local parks, cooking together and binge watching movies.
Victorian Romance
Alicia has an old soul and loves to go to flea markets or anywhere she can find immaculate vintage items. Her vintage style was represented in their wedding day. From the neutral fawn bridesmaids dresses to the romantic candlelit reception. In fact they even had a vintage Volkswagen Beetle to drive away in after their romantic sparkler exit!
