High Line Car House
Emilee and Michael
In the heart of downtown Columbus, nestled in the historic brewery district, lies a hidden gem called High Line Car House. Coupled with its brick walls, wooden floors, and elegant wood beams, this wedding venue provides the perfect backdrop for Emilee and Michael’s magical industrial wedding.
Emilee and Michael share a passion for camping, embarking on road trips across Ohio, and uncovering hidden treasures in antique shops. They also enjoy the brewery scene and trying out new restaurants. On the other hand, they equally cherish cozy nights at home, cuddling with their beloved kitties.
Emilee is always captivated by Michael’s goofy personality and his unwavering patience, while Michael adores Emilee’s radiant smile and infectious smile. Despite the challenges of a long distance relationship in the early stages, Emilee knew from the start that she wanted to spend her life with Michael. Their time apart only strengthened their bond and affirmed their love for each other.
As a professional cook, Michael often brings his culinary skills home, resulting in delightful evenings spent cooking together. However, he admits that Emilee is a better cook than him. They love creating delicious meals as a team and that is what truly matters to them. Emilee, on the other hand, finds comfort in crafting and working on various projects, while Michael thrives in the great outdoors, whether it be camping or backpacking. The Wedding Details
On their wedding day, they embarked on a journey to capture the essence of Columbus. After getting ready at The Westin and knocking out the first look, we then visited the iconic Union Station Arch, located at McFerson Commons Park in the arena district. This arch, is a remnant of the old union train station from the late 1800’s. In addition to our ventures across Columbus, our next stop was the Jeffrey Mansion. A breathtaking park in Bexley, known for its stunning historical architecture. Can you identify a common theme here? Many historic areas included in their photos
Lastly, we arrived at the stunning venue to get these two married! This wedding exuded classic, timeless and rustic appeal. The bridesmaids wore elegant powder blue dresses, while the groomsmen donned navy suits, perfectly complementing the white and ivory floral arrangements adorned with eucalyptus. The rustic jacobean wood signs added a touch of charm that harmonized beautifully with the gold accents and industrial interior of High Line Car House. Undoubtedly, a lovely wedding day with a gorgeous couple.
