Goodale Park Engagement | Allison and Tim - Columbus, Ohio Wedding Photographer

Allison and Tim are the most sweetest and cutest couple. When I first met with them I just fell in love with how adorable they were. Allison is so kind and Tim could make anyone laugh with his sense of humor. My kinda couple for sure. We started their session at Goodale Park where you can see, is absolutely breathtaking in the fall. Then we headed over to their old stomping grounds at The Ohio State University. They sported their school spirit at the rotunda wearing buckeye jerseys and buckeye necklaces.

How they met:

Believe it or not Allison and Tim met on their first day of college at The Ohio State University. The lived in the same residence hall, Haverfield House and were a part of the same academic group, the Humanities Scholars. They had classes together and developed a friendship first, and then at the end of the school year Tim told Allison that he liked her! How cute is that?! They decided to officially start dating in July of 2010.

How Tim proposed:

Tim proposed in front of all of their family and friends at Mirror Lake on Ohio State’s campus on their 5th anniversary of dating, July 3, 2015. The diamonds in her engagement ring belonged to Allison’s beloved grandmother (Nana) and with her family’s permission, Tim had them reset just for her! He totally surprised and fooled her! I would say Tim put a lot of thought into his proposal being able to get Allison’s grandmothers diamonds. So romantic too!
