This outgoing couple spent their big day at The Hilton in Downtown Columbus. This venue offers beautiful scenery for photo opportunities! Monica and her ladies got ready in one of the suites where she gave all her bridesmaids the most gorgeous earrings for them to wear that day, and keep forever. Jeff wrote Monica a heartfelt note in a card, along with a beautiful ring. Talk about a sweet moment!
Jeff and Monica wanted a moment together before the ceremony, without having a typical first look where Bride and Groom see one another face to face before they get married. They held hands and spoke loving words on either side of a pillar. This is a great option I suggest to couples who are on the fence about a first look and want to save that special moment of seeing one another for the actual ceremony.
Monica and Jeff were so at ease and in love during their ceremony. There was a mix of pure bliss and excitement on their faces. They shared their vows among loved ones and happy tears were shed. I was so happy to be there to document this special day for them!
After the ceremony we took some time taking couple, bride, groom and bridal party photos. The light did not disappoint for their outdoor portraits at Franklin Park Conservatory. Monica looked stunning in her form-fitting gown and Jeff was beaming with love for his bride! The bridesmaid dresses popped beautifully – such a great choice of color for fall! This couple was so laid-back and trusted my vision the entire day.
Their reception was so much fun! Lots of good food, dancing and laughter. And of course, Jeff’s favorite, Maker’s Mark whiskey. Monica and Jeff were so kind and selfless by also surprising Monica’s mother with her own cake to celebrate her birthday right in the midst of the reception. I’m so happy for these two and blessed to have had the opportunity to help them preserve the all the special moments from their Hilton Downtown Columbus wedding.
