Situated along the banks of Big Darby Creek, this gated estate has such a picturesque setting that is simply breathtaking. The moment you arrive, you are greeted by a stunning drive lined with magnificent mature trees and a charming white fence that goes on for days. It truly sets the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable wedding experience for any couple.

The Darby House played host to the wedding of Kelsey and Jon, a couple whose love story was inspired by the southern charm of Charleston, South Carolina. The bridesmaids dressed in different shades of blue, while the groomsmen followed suit, creating a cohesive palette of down-home goodness just how the southerners would call it. The floral arrangements, of white and lush greenery also added that perfect appeal to Kelsey’s inspiration.

The Dress

But it was Kelsey’s wedding gown that truly stole the show. Designed by Jenny You, the dress was adorned with pearl embellishments that added a touch of sophistication and elegance. It perfectly complemented Kelsey’s personal style and her graceful personality. Paired with the mix blue hues worn by her bridesmaids, the overall aesthetic was nothing short of exceptional.

Their love for each other is evident in the way they speak about one another. Kelsey adores Jon’s kindness and strength. Especially in tough situations. He always makes her feel loved, and his sense of humor brings so much joy to their relationship. On the other hand, Jon admired Kelsey’s deep love for their families and her spiritual connection in faith.
