OSU Engagement Photos | Catie and Joey
Catie and Joey met in college; actually, her first day of college! They met when he checked her in to sign into her dorm room. How sweet is that?! They just knew going into their relationship that they just fit.
That things would last forever and a wedding would be in their future.
The Proposal
Joey proposed in July during a very busy work week. He planned a nice, relaxing dinner for the two of them at Lindey’s. Before arriving to dinner, they took a walk around German Village. He stopped at Frank Fetch park to propose and ask her to marry him! He even made sure his sister and one of their best friends were there to capture the moment and to get celebratory drinks at Curio after their dinner reservations.
When asked about her future husband, Catie shared that Joey is the most kind, thoughtful man. He enjoys home projects, lives for golf and loves hosting parties with friends. Joey shared that Catie is such a multi-tasker. She loves being busy and working on a few projects at once. She also enjoys early morning workouts, specifically hip hop yoga. He loves her adventurous spirit and kind heart. Together, they spend time cooking, planning trips, exploring and spending time with family.
Catie and Joey love the Buckeyes; we knew we had to plan their engagement session to include them in some way. We began their session at the Ohio State University Stadium, and ended their session with adorable couples’ portraits at Buckeye Donuts. This fun-loving couple was a blast to work with! Obviously you can’t go wrong when donuts are involved 😉
These are a few of my favorite images from their engagement session in Columbus. Stay tuned for their wedding day blog post!
