The Couple

Ben and Topher enjoy staying in their cozy home with their three dogs. They love DIY projects and inviting friends over. Ben is the extrovert between the two of them. He pushes Topher outside his comfort zone when he’s being shy. It makes them such a great team and couple! Ben loves the Buckeyes, and graduated from Ohio Dominican University. Topher was a competitive dancer for 18 years. He was very close to moving back to Cleveland right before meeting Ben. He decided to stay to see where their relationship was going and made the call to stay in Columbus to give them a chance.

Their Wedding

The two were married on St. Patrick’s Day, 2017. They knew they had to incorporate the holiday into their big day since Ben proposed on St. Patrick’s Day! Speaking of proposal you can read all about it and view their engagement photos here. Their ceremony was written and performed by their dear friend, Stephanie. The couple wrote their vows just hours before the ceremony was due to begin. Attention to detail was a must for both the ceremony and reception. Supportive friends and family helped make their day possible with help, advice, and creative skills. Their reception, held at High Line Car House in Columbus, was full of dancing, love and fun! Ben shared a special dance with one of the bridesmaids, Ava. She is the daughter of their late friend, Corrinn. They left a special chair open for Corrinn during the entire day, ensuring she had a presence on their special day.

Their Future

They plan on eventually moving into a larger home once they find a home with a suitable yard for their dogs. Ben and Topher have always wanted to become parents and plan to adopt or begin a surrogate process when the time is right.
