Grand Vue Park Wedding | Wheeling, West Virginia
Sandy and Daniel
Grand Vue Park in Wheeling, West Virginia, was the perfect venue for Sandy and Daniel. It matched their fun, outdoorsy spirits. You can read more about their engagement and proposal here.
Sandy is a nurse, who loves her patients and her job. She is also a great aunt and loves spending time with her nieces and nephews. She found her match in Daniel, who she describes “the most caring person I know.”
They are an adventurous couple and they spend their time boating, kayaking, taking riding adventures on ATVs, and biking. They are the most gentle and fun loving couple.
About their Special Day
Everything from the first look to the reception was beautiful. The ceremony took place at Grand Vue Park in Moundsville. Even the weather was on board to help this wonderful couple celebrate. The couple opted for an “unplugged” wedding, requesting everyone put away their cameras and phones. I felt incredibly lucky to be trusted to capture the incredible beauty of Sandy and Daniel’s day.
What Sandy Says Were Her Favorite Moments:
When I asked Sandy about the most special moments from her wedding day, they centered around lovely family moments. Her favorites included, “my baby niece, the flower girl, being pulled in a little red wagon by my nephew, the ring bearer. He did a wonderful job. And the tribute chair containing a picture of my late mother on her own wedding day.”
She also loved dancing with all the little kids at the reception. One very special moment was when her father began passing out shots of 30-year-old crown royal to the reception crowd. The day even ended with a magical sparkler send-off for the newlyweds. This family sure knows how to throw a party!
Sandy and Daniel’s Post-Wedding Plans
This newly married couple has some big plans now that their wedding is over. Sandy is finishing up her last class to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Their all-inclusive honeymoon trip is still in the works and the couple plans to upgrade to a larger house to find a place for all their lovely wedding gifts.
Sandy’s Advice for Couples Planning Their Weddings
“Don’t stress. Everything will fall into place. I never thought we could plan a wedding in six months, [but] we couldn’t think of one thing that went wrong.”
What an absolutely beautiful wedding! I love the creamy tones and the elegant simplicity. The photography is beautiful and the lighting creates a sense of joy that jumps off the page.
Wow this wedding looked beautiful, the dress, scenery and everything was so detailed and beautiful!
